Calculate your bra size
Two measurements and you’ll know your size. We’ll also show you how to check it fits properly, as the correct size on paper isn’t always the one that fits well when worn.
We save your size in this browser so it’s handy while browsing products. It stays on your device.

Each cup has its own selection, featuring the styles that work best for it.
How to measure in two minutes
- Underbust measurement Place the tape measure straight just under the bust, horizontal and snug but not tight. This number gives the band: 85, 90, 95…
- Bust measurement At the widest point, without crushing. The tape should remain straight across the back as well.
- The difference determines the cup size Subtract the first number from the second to get the cup size. You don’t need to calculate it yourself: the calculator does it for you and tells you if that size is available.
Measure without a bra or with a thin unpadded one. With a padded bra, the tape measure rests on the cup and the bust measurement comes out larger than it is.
Four signs that the size is right for you
- The band stays horizontal and firm, and does not ride up at the back when you raise your arms. It is the band that provides support, not the straps.
- The wire should encircle the breast and sit against the ribcage, never on the breast tissue.
- The strap shouldn’t dig in: if it does, the band is too tight and the weight is shifting to your shoulders.
- The cup should neither wrinkle nor spill over. Wrinkling means the cup is too big; spilling means it is too small.
Frequently asked questions
What clothes should I wear when measuring?
No bra or with a thin one without padding or wires. With a padded one, the tape rests on the cup and the underbust measures larger than it should.
What are sister sizes?
The same cup fits various band/cup combinations: if you go down a band size, you go up a cup size. A 90B and an 85C have nearly identical cups; what changes is the tightness under the bust.
Why does my size vary between brands?
Because each manufacturer cuts to its own pattern. That is why we save your size and adjust it to the brand sizing you are viewing, instead of giving you a single number.
How do I know if the bra fits me well?
The band should sit horizontal and firm, without riding up at the back; the wire should encircle the breast without sitting on top; the strap should not dig in; and the cup should neither wrinkle nor spill over.
